Your study data is stored locally on your device.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store.
We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements.
We use PostHog for first-party analytics to improve the App.
We do not sell your personal data or track you across other apps and websites.
You can export your data as a JSON file and control where it is stored or shared.
2) Information We Collect
2.1 Data You Create or Enter (Stored Locally)
The App stores information locally on your device, including:
Study Data:
- Study sessions (duration, subject, mood, completion status)
- Daily and weekly study goals
- Study streaks and progress metrics

We use PostHog, a first-party analytics service, to understand how users interact with the App:

- Data is exported in JSON format

- We have no control over data after you export it

5) Data Storage, Security, and Retention
5.1 Local Storage
- Most data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage
- Data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App
- The App stores up to 500 study sessions to manage storage space
5.2 Security Practices
- We use reasonable security measures to protect your data
- Analytics data is transmitted securely to PostHog servers
- Subscription data is protected by Apple's and RevenueCat's security systems
5.3 Data Retention
- Local data persists until you delete it or uninstall the App
- Analytics data is retained by PostHog according to their policies
- Subscription records may be retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their policies
6) Your Choices and Controls
6.1 Analytics Preferences
- You can request to opt out of analytics collection
- Contact us to disable analytics tracking for your account
- Opting out may affect our ability to improve the App
6.2 Data Management
- Export your study data at any time through Settings
- Delete individual sessions or clear all data through the App
- Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data
6.3 Notifications
- Enable or disable notifications in App Settings
- Customize notification times and preferences
- Control notification types (reminders, timer completion)
6.4 Subscriptions
- Manage or cancel subscriptions via Apple ID settings
- Restore purchases if you reinstall the App or change devices

7) Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child, we will delete it promptly.
